Yes but the spiritual is connected to the physical. You cannot love others as yourself if you do not include the body that houses the spiritual. See how Jesus says that the mind/brain, the physical is all important. That is where the treasure is. Listen at about the 1.5 mark. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN_uLYJBi4c&feature=relatedRegards DL

Listen at about the 1.5 mark. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN_uLYJBi4c&feature=relatedRegards DL I don't know how others see it. But the physical was never an importance to Christ. Like himself, Christ taught that there is no better gift than to give one's life for another. The mind is spiritual. The brain isn't. The mind controls the soul. The brain, the body. 9) Blessed are you that you did not waver at the sight of Me. For where the mind is there is the treasure.
10) I said to Him, Lord, how does he who sees the vision see it, through the soul or through the spirit?
11) The Savior answered and said, He does not see through the soul nor through the spirit, but the mind that is between the two that is what sees the vision-Gospel of Mary The spirit influences the mind. So does the carnal desires, the physical desires of the body. The mind is what "chooses" to follow. Knowledge is food for the mind. In the beginning (Eden), man had a soul, and a mind. But no spirit (from the true Father). Adam and Eve "transgressed" by adding the spirit to this equation of life. The spirit of the Father immediately gave their mind something it didn't have. Knowledge. Genesis 3 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. At that time, the battle began. We seek knowledge in a constant, unwavering quest. But one must be vigilant. 1 Peter 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. Through spirit, and spirit only, can wisdom and knowledge be revealed.

I decide on this board who is gnostic or not, christian or not. No warning this time, straight to the corner.

The "corner" is a setting that limits a poster to posting in the "cooler" section of the boards, where they can be free to apologize, curse out the admin, or just twiddle their thumbs until they figure out that the rules are the rules. I will not tolerate someone telling someone else that they are "not a Christian Gnostic" on this board. I had set it up to catch morman bashers, but it works just as well for this purpose. It seemed fairer than out right banning, because hey, everyone has a bad day now and again.
