I just heard this recently, but I read that in the OT YHWH commands David to take a census, and then throws a hissy fit and kills 70k Israelites for it. (If I'm understanding the story correctly)
In the NT apparently it says that it was Satan and not YHWH that commanded the census.
I wonder if this story was included in Marcion's Antithesis? Also I wonder if anyone has any perspective on this? I'm not sure why the OT would say God moved David to take a census and in the NT it says Satan did.
