Today is the third Sunday of Advent, a time to reflect on the joy the coming of Christ will bring. Despite all the hardships of life, Christ brings joy into our lives because Christ brings us freedom from the Archons, the rulers of this age. While the Archons rejoiced thinking that they had subdued Sophia by subduing her into each of us, they were ignorant that they were setting up their undoing. This holy wisdom that resides in each of us allows us to recognize her consort when he appears. The joy of Christ is embracing the freedom that he brings. We do not need to be ashamed of our social standing because Christ loves all, and since Christ is the image of the Father, we know that God loves all as well. While the Archons say that you must be such and such to be loved by God, Christ shows this is not true. You do not have to be wealthy, of a certain class of people, or of a particular ethnicity to be loved by God. These are all lies that the Christ dispels.
We are also joyful because we know that Christ is ever present in anyone who is with love, even if it is from someone who is of a different religion or culture. As stated in Thomas 77:
Since Christ’s birth is an everyday event starting with the beginning of time and still continuing, we have everyday to be joyful. We can conceive Christ in ourselves anywhere for everything ultimately derives from God. Just as a Christ was conceived a bastard just shows that Christ can be conceived in anyone.
We are can be free from the Archons. This is what the coming of Christ means to us that we do not have to be subject to them. Despite the shame the Archons try to instill in us, we can be free from it and live. We can be redeemed and live life in the fullness. May your Christmas be joyful, Amen.

Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."
