7 Gods?

When looking into the word "spirit" I find spirit, spirits and Spirit throughout the Bible. The OT almost always uses the "spirit of God cane upon" someone. This is clear that the Spirit didn't reside within. It wasn't until after Jesus died that Paul, Peter, John etc. places the Spirit of God within us.
But as I read of how these words were used in Revelations, again the Spirit isn't inside, and at one point there is mentioned the "7 Spirits of God". That's interesting, because Secret John says that the Chief Archon had 7 that made Adam (man). It appears Revelation may be a vision by the demiurge.
Thoughts?

There could be a connection there but more than likely the connection is because of what the authors attribute to the Demiurge and God.
The seven archons were connected with the 7 heavenly spheres (planets). If the author of revelations believed in the God of Genesis, then it's possible that the seven spirits could be the heavenly spheres but again this is speculation.
I don't give Revelation much consideration since it's apocalyptic literature and depicts a Christ that is not consistent with the Christ of Christianity.

I personally would not read much into revelations, I get bad vibes off it. However your mileage may vary.

I don't really put a lot into Revelations (apocalypses of John, Peter or Paul). They remind me of OT prophesies that were intended to turn men, and doesn't really coincide with the Gospel.
I just found the irony interesting.
