I thought this was a pretty fascinating discussion on The Duncan Trussell Family Hour podcast:

They talk about the demi-urge for quite a while, and while I'd probably nit-pick a few things I thought it was a pretty fascinating discussion, especially how it related to Hancock's new novel about the Aztecs fighting the Spanish.
One of the more bizarre things they mention is that suposedly the Gnostic cross is sometimes depicted with or by a psychadelic mushroom. Has anyone heard of this before? I emailed Hancock about this for a source on that today but haven't heard back yet.
(This is a great podcast, but the language gets really salty. I don't think it was very rough on this episode, but I don't want anyone to download it and be offended
