Is it conceivable that this wisdom could be the Holy Spirit that God protects so well?

I read in Karen King's book on The Secret Revelation of John that in Genesis when it says something to the effect that "Let us move over the face of the waters," (I'm sure I'm quoting very poorly) that many Rabbi's consider the "us" YHWH and Sophia. So I suppose it's possible She makes a very early appearance in Jewish literature.

WOW Soulgazer. And I didn't think the OT had anything worth verifying the wisdom of Christ. Solomon seemed to have the wisdom afforded of Sophia?

I think one of the texts of the apocrypha mentions Her, but I'm barely familiar with those texts.

What are some novice books on this topic? It seems very interesting.

I'll seccond that one Steve. I agree with Jeremy on this whole heartedly---- Sophia is a hero worth emulating because she repented and set about to make things right.
