This book concerns a mystery revealed through Paul which I am convinced has never been properly understood, not least by me until a recent “encounter with the Holy Spirit”. I believe a proper understanding of what the apostle wrote in Eph3:8-11 facilitates the reconciliation of scripture as a whole, in particular explaining the seeming disparity between OT prophecy and the way the gospel age has panned out. Furthermore it clarifies the Church and gospel's role within the vastly more inclusive Plan God has to reconcile all redeemable humanity to Himself. It’s “the fellowship of the secret” and of course it’s unorthodox, undermining the teaching of Augustine and the Reformers in particular, rather it builds on the consensus of understanding possessed by the earliest Fathers of the Church who (after all) had received the Good News directly from the apostles or their immediate appointees.
