I know the scriptures were written in Hebrew and Greek. But my question would be, what language does the Holy Spirit speak? I don't believe the Holy Spirit dictated word for word, but men took images, oral traditions, actual teachings of Christ and wrote them, probably (many) years later. Is it possible a jot or tittle could even be lost in the actual writing itself?
I DO like to have a few different interpretations of the NT. I'm not so lucky with the apocryphal and gnostic books, but no matter.
The very Spirit we are supposed to have faith in has the ability to interpret and fill in the lost jot and tittles the Father gave to the first followers of Christ, IMO.
